SEWERAGE WORKER / ROAD WORKER (LEVEL3)

Requirements
You will be admitted to this course after you have finished the course of Junior Sewerage worker/Road worker successfully.

Training duration
The education takes two years and can be followed with career guidance. 

Description
This course teaches you how to independently construct and maintain sewer systems and roads. You set out heights and directions for the sewer systems, ditches and roads. You also construct special sewerage constructions, you prepare the asphalt work and you set road elements.

The education contains 5 sub-qualifications, namely:
Groundwork II
Roads
Sewer systems
Drainage systems
Special constructions
Drainage systems and Special constructions are free optional sub-qualifications. The other sub-qualifications are obligatory.
You receive the certificate once you have successfully completed all the obligatory sub-qualifications.

 

Oppertunities
After this education, you have the opportunity to follow middle management courses. There are also different application courses and 35b courses.

Payment
The wage will be determined based on the Collective Labour Agreement within the company you work for. Furthermore, the wage depends upon your age.

Safety
By following the courses Basic Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors, Working safely along roads and Use your back in a safe way, you will learn how to work in a safe and responsible way. 

Buildings
GOA Infra Group has different schools in de region. There are schools in Drachten and Assen. From December until April all students will follow practical lessons. Qualified coaches will guide the students in completing the practical tasks. These practical tasks will be practised and examined several times.
